Guided hiking weekend on Lochnagar and the Callater Munros

High above Royal Deeside, Lochnagar looks down into dark corries and deep lochans. This peak is the dominant mountain in a superb high-level area which boasts 5 Munros. We'll be aiming to bag all of these Munros over a weekend of winter mountain-hiking at a relaxed pace.

General info

This 2 day event is a guided hiking weekend up Lochnagar and the Glen Callater Munros with one of our experienced and qualified leaders. Your guide will know the remote area well and be able to give you insight into the flora, fauna and geology.

Our maximum guide to client ratio on this event is 1:6.

You would be very welcome to join us for part of the trip, the cost of which is £69 per day.

Outline of trip

Day 1 : Lochnagar and Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach

Hiking up to a high plateau with vast cliffs and a stunning waterfall

Day 2 : Glen Callater hills

A hike (or bike) along a fine track to a lonely loch reaches the foot of these grass covered hills
