Munro bagging in the Fannich Forest

To the west of flowing lands around Ben Wyvis and the Moray Firth, the Fannichs form a long chain of peaks in the high ground above Loch Fannich, Loch Glascarnoch and Loch a'Bhraoin.

At a glance


  • We're in the far north-west for 3 days hiking along high mountain ridges above dark coires
  • Savour expansive vistas from the summits including views to iconic peaks of An Teallach and those in Torridon and Assynt

General info


Guided hiking to high summits on the Fannich Munros in the Northern Highlands over 3 days with one of our experienced and qualified leaders.

Your guide will know the mountains well and be able to give you insight into the flora, fauna and geology.

Our maximum guide to client ratio on this event is 1:6.

You would be very welcome to join us for part of the trip, the cost of which is £65 per day.

Day 1 : Eastern Fannichs

Circuit route bagging 4 Munros including mighty Sgurr Mor, the highest peak in the range

Day 2 : Centre Fannichs

A hike over Meall a'Chrasgaidh, Sgurr nan Clach Geala and Sgurr nan Each

Day 3 : Western Fannichs

A hill-walk above hidden Loch Toll an Lochain to bag the western Fannich peaks of A'Chailleach and Sgurr Breac
