General info

This 3 day event is an extended guided hiking weekend to high summits on the Mamores mountain range in the Central Highlands with one of our experienced and qualified leaders. Your guide will know the areas well and be able to give you insight into the flora, fauna and geology.

If you've never been rock-scrambling before, then this event is a fine introduction - we'll show you techniques and how to move along ridges and up easy rock.

Our maximum guide to client ratio on this event is 1:6.

You would be very welcome to join us for part of the trip, the cost of which is £69 per day (£79 for the Ring o'Steall day).

Outline of trip

Day 1 : Eastern Mamores

A circular route on fine paths to bag the 4 easterly Mamore Munros

Day 2 : Ring o'Steall

Some narrow ridges give superb, but easy rock-scrambling on this stunning circuit

Day 3 : Western Mamores

An easier day to finish the weekend on. Some cracking views and a little scrambling too
