In the heart of Ardgour, Beinn na h-Uamha is a rugged Corbett rising above Glen Gour and Glen Scaddle. Together with its Graham neighbour, standing just one metre shorter, these hills form a long ridge, with a grassy crest dotted by rocky outcrops and lochans.
Approaches from both Glen Gour and Glen Scaddle follow good cyclable tracks and lead to a river crossing at the base of the hill. While the Glen Scaddle route is slightly longer, it offers the advantage of extending the hike to include the nearby peaks of Sgurr Dhomhnuill and Carn na Nathrach.
