When driving up the A93 from Perth through Glen Shee, Standing above the buildings of Spittal of Glenshee, grass-covered Ben Gulabin is the first hill of substantial size to come into view when driving northward from Perth on the A93.
With having close proximity to the roadside, a modest ascent and an estate track getting to within 1km of the summit, Ben Gulabin is one of the easiest Corbetts to bag.
A hike aiming northwards from Ben Gulabin and traversing Carn a' Gheodidh and its neighbouring Munros would make for a decent hillwalking route, though perhaps arranging transport would be recommended to avoid a lengthy walk back down the A93.
