Bespoke mountain guiding

Guided mountain adventures in Scotland, tailored to suit you.

We halted organising bespoke mountain events in 2020 and 2021 due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19 pandemic. In 2022 we have opted to concentrate on our calendar of 'open' events and again not offer any bespoke guiding. The information you see below refers to previous years, which we might again offer at a later date.

In addition to our calendar of planned events, we can tailor a bespoke mountain adventure specifically to meet your requirements. Whether you're after a leisurely day hiking up hills, a back-packing trip into remote wilderness, rock-scrambling along crests or climbing up famed pinnacles, we can organise your guiding. With our friendly and experienced leaders, we keep our guide to client ratios small, giving you that personal experience.

We can also advise on local accommodation and travel arrangements and sort out any gear you might need to borrow or hire.

You'll need a reasonable level of fitness, otherwise no previous experience is needed.

Back-packing into remote wilderness

Scotland has vast wilderness areas containing remote and rugged peaks requiring effort and planning to reach. All the effort needed to get into these landscapes is rewarded with inspiring views that few people get the chance to encounter.

In addition to guiding, we can plan your trip and help with accommodation prior to and after the event. We can advise on back-packing gear needed and hire out any equipment required. Some of the wildernesses can be accessed using mountain-bikes.

We ask that people have done at least a few hillwalks and have a decent level of fitness.

Cost per day : £300, group size up to 6 people.

From the quartzite topped giants of Torridon to the intimidating buttresses on Ben Nevis and the narrow spine of crags on the Aonach Eagach to the rough gabbro that make Skye's infamous Black Cuillin, these are just a few examples of the choice on offer.

Whether you're after one day or a week, we can put together an unforgettable trip on some of the greatest rock-scrambling in the country.

You'll have done at least a few hillwalks, have a good general level of fitness and comfortable scrambling ! Check out this page for scrambling grades and more info.
