Sgor na h-Ulaidh in Glencoe

Guided hike up Sgor na h-Ulaidh and Stob an Fhuarain

Hidden behind the impressive peaks of Glencoe and Cruachan, tranquillity can be found on mountains less frequented by boots. Such mountains rise above Glen Etive and look over Loch Linnhe to vast views to Mull and beyond. We're here to bag Sgor na h-Ulaidh, a rugged mountain peak in the heart of this area, traversing its summit crest and taking in neighbouring Stob an Fhuarain.

At a glance

  • A day of guided hiking over mountains overlooking Glen Etive and Glen Creran
  • Reach superb vantage points from where vast views can be savoured, particularly over Appin towards Morven and Mull
  • Bag the Munro summit of Sgor na h-Ulaidh and take in the minor peak of Stob an Fhuarain
  • Join a small group led by an experienced leader familiar with the area
