Meall na h-Eilde is possibly most readily accessed from the forestry and hydro tracks which lead from the eastern end of Loch Arkaig and run past some lovely waterfalls. Higher up and linked by grass-covered crests along which lines of fence-posts run, a hike to Meall na h-Eilde can be combined with other nearby lower hills.
