Just west of the Five Sisters of Kintail, lonely Sgurr an Airgid stands overlooking the head of Loch Duich. Due to the isolated position of Sgurr an Airgid, the views from the summit are quite breaktaking.

Sgurr an Airgid will most likely be hiked up on its own, with the most straightforward route beginning from close to the shores of Loch Duich. This route follows a rough track and a boot-worn trod up Sgurr an Airgid's south-facing slopes and around its eastern shoulder onto the hill's summit.
