Possibly the most popular route to Sgurr Dhomhnuill begins from Ariundle just north of Strontian and follows forestry tracks, then a rough path up Sgurr na-Iginn.
However, for those looking to include nearby Corbetts of Beinn na Nathrach and Beinn na h-Uamha, the aprroach from the old house of Tighnacomaire in Glen Scaddle is to be recommended.
