Standing above the western end of Glen Shiel, Sgùrr na Sgine has a relatively flat grass-covered summit that ends abruptly above its eastern face, giving it a striking outline.
The most direct hiking route up Sgùrr na Sgine begins with a steep climb up the minor peak of Faochag, thereafter a pleasant stroll bags its summit. However, most hillwalkers will opt to combine Sgùrr na Sgine with The Saddle nearby in a circular route which takes in some thrilling rock-scrambling along the Forcan Ridge.
